Job Purpose

To create, grow, and maintain sales of plant nutritional products to various industry sectors throughout North Carolina and Southern parts of Virginia. The primary focus being local distributor partners who supply fertilizer products to turf care professionals in addition to direct sales to key accounts within the professional Turf & Ornamental market. This position is home-based, with traveling involved to grow and foster the customer base in North Carolina and Virginia. This position sells products that are packaged in North and South Carolina facilities. Salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Establish and maintain sales of packaged fertilizer products to local distributor partners

and other businesses such as: local family stores, golf courses, sporting venues, schools, and other similar sectors.

· Develop and foster relationships with customer base

· Identify unique opportunities to introduce novel product concepts

· Ensure company adherence to fundamental customer requirements

· Maintain clear communication with fertilizer production personnel

· Willingness to travel to fulfill required job responsibilities

Education & Experience

· College degree preferred

· 1-2 Years’ experience in the Turf & Ornamental sector

· Sales experience in the Turf & Ornamental market is preferred

· Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required

· Basic computer skills required
